Chicas 2004 - 2008

Through observing my own women friends, I started to become aware of how women in their first adult decade are making important decisions about their future through first serious relationships, marriages, sexual experiences, career moves, disappointments, motherhood and all these little moments in life that shape our everyday existence. I tried through my portraits of them to show something of that intimate world.

Chicas were the subject of a solo exhibition with catalogue text written by Krzysztof Jurecki.

Series consists of 23 images, edition of 8 + 2AP, 40 x 40 cm, Lambda print (mounted on aluminium)
